Check a Meta deletion request
When you remove Public Pulse from your Facebook account, or ask Meta to delete your data, Meta gives you a confirmation code and a link to this page. Use the link Meta supplied or enter the confirmation code below.
What happens after you request deletion
Our privacy team reviews your request and contacts you at the email address you provide. We may need to confirm your identity and authority before sharing, changing or deleting information. Submitting a request does not immediately close an account or delete data.
Accounts and office records
You can request deletion of your Public Pulse account and associated personal information, or specify particular personal data. Public Pulse supports offices that manage their own correspondence and records. Closing a staff account does not automatically delete the office’s correspondence or other shared records. We will work with the relevant office to review requests concerning those records.
Retention and exceptions
Some information may need to be retained for legal, security or recordkeeping reasons. The privacy team will explain what can be deleted and any retention that applies to your request. Our Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how we use it and our retention practices.
Connected services and Meta data
An office can connect services such as Facebook Pages, Instagram or WhatsApp to Public Pulse. For information about the data these connections store and the available removal options, read the Meta platform data section of our Privacy Policy. If Meta supplied a confirmation code, use the status form above to check that request.
